Our story

Forty years of light on the Grand Strand

What began in 1986 with a young rabbi, his wife, and a suitcase full of faith has grown into a thriving campus of Jewish life — steps from the Atlantic Ocean.

Founded with love

Walk in and you will hear it before you see it — laughter over kiddush, children racing down the hallway of the Chabad Jewish Academy, the rustle of a Torah scroll being opened. This is not a building that hosts Jewish life; it is Jewish life, happening every single day.

Rabbi Doron Aizenman and Rebbetzin Leah Aizenman founded the community with a simple belief: every Jew — whether here for a weekend on the beach or for a lifetime — deserves a home. Today that home includes a day school, summer camp, teen and campus programs, adult education, and a brand-new mikvah.

Always open

No tickets, no membership, no judgement. If you are Jewish, this is your address.

Family first

Rabbi Doron & Rebbetzin Leah Aizenman have poured four decades of love into this community.

Built for everyone

From preschool to seniors — locals, snowbirds, students and tourists, all one family.

Joyful Judaism

Warm melodies, deep learning, legendary kiddushim — tradition lived with a smile.

Shabbat & services

Every week, a palace in time

The rhythm of our week builds to Shabbat — candles at sundown, a full house on Saturday morning, and a kiddush that no one rushes to leave.

Candles are lit 18 minutes before sundown every Friday.
